Late Fees and Payments

Once registered you are responsible for total team fees associated with that membership. All payments must be received by the 15th of each month or a late fee of $5 will be incurred. Payments are required to be made via The Kentucky Mudpuppies website. This can be automated by attaching a debit/credit card to your account.

Kentucky Mudpuppies Club Fee & USA Registration Fee

USA Registration Fees are paid directly to USA Swimming. You will receive an email upon registration with a link to register with USA Swimming directly. The fee you will pay to USA Swimming is $99.

  • For those families who are eligible, there is an Outreach USA/KY Swimming Membership. It is a reduction in USA/KY Swimming Membership Fees. Please request more info if you feel your family is eligible.
  • The Kentucky Mudpuppies annual Club Fee of $200 (due at registration), helps to cover costs for the our Team's Website that we use to manage our communication and billing within the team, two Team T-shirts, and a Team Swim Cap.

Additional Expenses

These are expenses associated with membership that include, but not limited to, meet entry fees, apparel, social events, etc.

Once meet entries have been sent to the host team, an invoice will be generated for those events to your account. Regardless of participation in the meet at that point, you will be responsible for the Final Entries' meet fees. If your swimmer misses an event at the swim meet, you still will be charged for that event. Along with meet fees, a travel fee per meet will be required to help cover the costs of coaches' travel to and from meets during the season. This amount, combined with the Host Team's Meet Subcharge Fee, will not exceed $75 for any single swim meet.

Additional expenses will be invoiced the month following if any expense is incurred. Individual invoices will be generated for your review.

Volunteer Commitment

Generally, there is no Volunteer Commitment required for the members of The Kentucky Mudpuppies. At this point, the only case in which we would require our parents to volunteer is if the host team of a meet we are competing in asks for help from our members. This is fairly common at swim meets.
